This year, we are proud to present the Miss Lao San Diego Pageant as part of our ongoing mission to honor and share our heritage. The pageant draws inspiration from the mythical story of a King and his seven daughters, a tale that has been passed down through the ages and is central to Lao identity. The event celebrates the beauty, grace, and wisdom of Lao women, and by raising funds for the Lao Community Cultural Center, we ensure that this cultural treasure is never lost. But this isn't just about a pageant. It’s about passing down the traditions of Nang Sanh Khan, a heritage that binds us together as a people. As part of this year's pageant, we are holding a fundraiser that allows YOU to become part of this vital mission. Each contestant will have their own fundraising profile, and the top fundraiser will earn the title of Miss People's Choice.
