Hi. My name is Katelyn Sevens. My son (not yet adopted, so "step son", and Alex stevens son. Riley Steven's, needs a MRI. We have ask for help,yet nothing has happened. So, let us tell the story. Our son Riley is highly aggressive and has trouble with impulses and boundaries. Exceeding, what is normal behavior for an 8 year old.
His biological mother shook him as a baby. It is unknown how hard or long it took place, we know that it was in the first two weeks of his life. Riley has expressed he feels like his brain just stops working.
When talking to the doctors they say " it's past trauma and nothing can be done". We are desperate to get him a MRI of his brain, and need help paying for one, as the doctor he sees will not approve the need for one. It's impairitive, so we can get the proper treatment for him. We ask you to please donate to help us help our son.
This could make the world of difference in his life, to get a correct diagnosis. His grandmother, will be putting all donations collected in to a medical bank account until we can financially get there! So we are asking, no we are begging for your help.
