Hi my name is Crystal I'm 51 deaf dog groomer of many years. I got diagnosed with esophageal cancer 2 weeks ago . I had to leave my job that i love due to my health .
I am setting this most needed fundings for for my medical insurance,living costs,emergency travels, and medical treatments such as chemotherapy/radiation,surgeries,hospital stay and home nurse visits.
I'm on obamacare til funds run out since I'm not working. Trying to process with social security disability income . It'll probably be 6 to 9 months til I get approved plus get the check and Medicaid insurance.
I will be getting Chemo portal and feeding tube inserted surgically on 20th of august. Treatments will be started right away. Chemotherapy/radiation to shrink down the massive tumor in mid esophagus and tumor above my stomach. Feeding tube is to help me gain weight before the tumors removal surgery.
I'm still processing all these. It's new raw and emotional. My anxiety is pretty bad . I had to put my pride aside and ask for help..because my funds r running low. I can't miss my treatments. Cancer don't wait! My mobility is starting to get limited due to loss of weight lack of energy and unable to eat normally
I will be sharing my journey in vlogs and my fb page to educate n help others plus recieve supports in many ways.im appreciative of the help. I will do same for others when I'm able to.
