Yesterday evening, I rushed my beloved cat Kodak (AKA Poopoo) to the emergency vet here in Mishawaka. He's still hospitalized, and I am facing some difficult decisions. Despite an initial diagnosis of a small UTI, the x-ray revealed a potential foreign body inside him. This means that without more x-rays and possibly surgery, his pain won't ease, and he might not be able to come home today.
The initial costs already strained my resources, and now I'm anticipating another $1,000 to $2,000, depending on his treatment. I'm hoping to raise $500 to help manage these unforeseen expenses. The emergency hospital stays and procedures are adding up quickly, but I know that getting him the care he needs right now is critical. Any support would truly make a difference in ensuring Kodak can safely recover and come back home. I adopted him at the time of Covid during a harmful relationship. This little guy is my everything.
