Logan is a 6 year old who is battling juvenile idiopathic arthritis, pauciarticular arthritis and uveitis. She has been battling this autoimmune disease for 3 years now. We are looking into other treatments for her that insurance does not help with and our insurance is currently working on kicking us off so we are starting to get medical bills in. Logan goes to two specialist frequently. She sees a rheumatologist and an ophthalmologist. She is currently on weekly injections, folic acid nightly, 2 different eye drops and an eye cream. She is having to do modified school days with her flare up being so hard on her that she is having trouble getting up and moving around first thing in the mornings. As her mom, I’m having to quit my job to accommodate her new schedule, so we are weaning down to one income at the moment. With medical bills coming in and trying to find an alternative treatment we are reaching out and asking for help. We are not the type of people to reach out for help, but here we are. If you feel it in your heart to even gift a dollar or two or just share this with people you know, we would be forever grateful.
