In support of Legends of the Ball, Inc. (LOB), Lake Houston Basketball has pledged to support LOB's fundraising goals by sponsoring 3 golf teams & hosting a basketball camp for the 4th Annual Legends of the Ball Golf Classic.
Our contribution will benefit the recipients of the Legends of the Ball "Legends Scholarship". Two of our Lake Houston Angels, Laila Mouton & Elizabeth Brown, have received a LOB scholarship for their commitment to academic and athletic excellence. Elizabeth graduated from New Caney HS and currently attends Lone Star College-Montgomery majoring in Radiology. Laila is in her sophomore year at the University of Houston majoring in Kinesiology (Fitness and Sports). Laila and Elizabeth will co-direct the LHB Camp on Friday, October 11, 9 am-12 pm at The Gym.

All funds raised will support youth camps, education programs, scholarships for Houston area schools, and further our mission to promote the historic and social relevance of the Women’s Professional Basketball League (WBL), the first women’s professional basketball league in the U.S.
