Cash and Junes Puppies are officially 7 weeks old! Almost all of them have found homes we have 3 that still need homes tho soooo that’s stressful lol. Cash has one more session of Heart worm treatment then hopefully he is all clear! June will hopefully be starting her next round soon but we have had to use most of our donations for other appointments for June, her pregnancy confirmation, the X-rays and visit for two puppies that sounded like they had pneumonia. One puppy with a cleft palate that we ended up losing and now we are dealing with June not gaining any weight and now bleeding after she pees. It’s NOT her menstrual cycle coming back it’s far too early for that so there are a few other issues that we have to take her to a vet to rule out. It can be retained tissue from when she had the baby it can be an injury that opened up again or an infection a bunch of things that don’t have good outlooks if they aren’t taken care of….currently we are snowed in so we are trying our best to stay calm and just keep checking on her till we can get her to the vet so prayers are appreciated and sharing their story in hopes we can get alittle more help for these next few appointments and hopefully get her spayed so we don’t have any other issues in the future and she can focus on healing from the heartworms! And whatever this new issue is. Anyways thank you for reading our updates and the continued support!

On Sunday (11/09/25), I saw a post on our county Facebook page about two pit bulls who had been abandoned months ago. The house they were left at has since burned down, leaving them with no shelter, little food, and no one to care for them.

With temperatures dropping into the 20s, we knew they wouldn’t survive much longer out there. The post was shared over 100 times, but no one could take them both — and they’re a bonded pair, so separating them just didn’t feel right.

So my husband and I decided to take them in. 💕

We brought them home, gave them baths, and spent a good amount of time sitting on the floor with tweezers, pulling off ticks and fleas. Despite everything they’ve been through, they were so gentle and grateful — just happy to be warm and safe again.

Yesterday, I took them to the vet for checkups, vaccines, and tests… and that’s when we got heartbreaking news: both dogs tested positive for heartworms. 💔

Their treatment is estimated to cost $1,720+ (and that’s if the first round works). We also want to get them both neutered and spayed so they can fully recover and have the best shot at a healthy, happy life.

We love these two already, but we just can’t afford their medical care on our own. We don’t want to take them to a shelter — they’ve already been through enough.

Update as of 12/1
We confirmed June is pregnant! 9+ babies in her belly the poor thing we will have to stop her treatments for her heartworms and hope the shots the vet gave her do not cause birth defects or kill the babies!

Cash will continue his treatment later this month and will also have to have a deep cleaning of his ears too because it seems he has a bad yeast infection in there. He will probably have to be sedated and sent home with medication so that’s another bill added on to our plates we weren’t expecting along with Junes X-Ray to confirm babies and get a head count. So with that being said now we are behind on our goal for treatment. Technically we have Cash’s treatment fully covered but now we will be about $400 short for June so please keep sharing their story! I’ve shared it withe a few organizations aswell but haven’t had much luck hearing back from them so if you guys know of any please share! Thank you all who have donated and shared already it definitely helped us so so much. We started this journey just wanting to save two dogs from freezing and now it’s gotten a lot bigger then we ever anticipated!

10!!! we have 10 puppies!!! 4boys and 6 girls! Mom did a great job having her babies all alive and seem healthy!

UPDATE AS OF 12/22

Our puppies are 2 weeks old! We did lose 1 poor girl to a birth defect but the rest of the babies are thriving, their eyes are opening and they are finding their barks…yay! 🤣 anyways Junes treatment is still postponed till she’s all done feeding those pups! Cash on the other hand has gone in to the vet this morning for his overnight stay with 2 shots and he will also be getting sedation for a deep ear cleaning to help get rid of the ear infection he’s been suffering with for who knows how long. That being said with the ear infection and the puppies we have used up all we have raised so far on vet bills and June will still need her 2 and they both need their 3rd treatments in a few months so if we can keep sharing their story as far as we can maybe we can get a bit more of the bill covered! It would be a big helpful blessing for us! Stay tuned for more pupdates!
