Ive been on my own since 15 and I put in a lot of work to build and rebuild my life and I was about to move into an apartment in Buffalo but was staying with my cousin in the meantime and all my belongings were there. We left to go to the store and when we came back everyone was fleeing the building and there was black smoke pouring out the door and within 15 min it exploded and was engulfed in flames. We lost everything. The pet bunny, Ruby died. The cat, Benson (black and white long haired) escaped thank God but we’re still looking for him. The building had NUMEROUS code violations and we repeatedly asked the landlord to fix things because we did not feel safe at all but he refused. All my savings burned up in the fire. Nothing was salvageable. Anything would help. Thankyou for reading ❤️
