Many of you know and are fascinated by Joe Bryan's story - a loving principal who was accused of murdering his wife with zero substantial evidence and spent the last 32 years in prison. If you do not, the NY Times Magszine covered the story of his unjustified imprisonment, which you can read here https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/05/23/magazine/joe-bryan-blood-forensics-murder.html.
Joe was released on parole in March 2020 at the age of 79 with an ankle monitor and told he was not allowed to leave his residence, which was another sort of prison. Just recently though, his ankle monitor was removed and now he can finally see his family & friends, and explore the world he was taken from 32 years ago. However, at 80+ years he has no source of income and therefore cannot afford a car, or anything substantial for that matter, to be able to enjoy the life he has left outside the prison walls. We are asking for your help so that Joe can make up for lost time. We are raising money to get him a car, so he can travel safely as he visits family and friends and explores new places. If Joe's story touches your heart and you feel led to help, sharing this page or giving even the smallest amount would be a huge Blessing for him. As always, we have not given up the fight and we will not stop until there is #justiceforjoebryan.
