In May of this year, Bill Elrod discovered he had pancreatic cancer and was hospitalized for a week to help manage his pain. Bill is one of the most "selfless" people we know, always willing and eager to help anyone in anyway he can and he never meets a stranger. He has always greeted everyone with a smile and a little chuckle and continues to do so. That's just Bill.
Despite his intense pain from the illness, he is determined to continue working. Some of us who know and love Bill are hoping this will help relieve some stress of the medical and living expenses. For those of us close to Bill, we know this appeal must be uncomfortable for him, which is the reason we are taking this initiative.
He will soon undergo surgery in hopes to remove the cancer and will obviously not be able to work at all during this time. Bill and Lisa will need continued prayers for a full recovery.
