Hello friends, my name is Allison Hull, and I live in Southern California. I am fundraising to support my friend Ahmed Abu Warda (insta: @wrdhmd1450 ), who lives in the northern Gaza Strip. He had a campaign on a different platform, but we are expanding from survival funds to both survival and a longer term plan to help the family relocate outside the Gaza Strip.
The family is Line 1244 at the Butterfly Effect Project, (intsta: @butterflyeffect.project).
We are raising funds to support Ahmed, because food has become increasingly expensive once again and he needs to provide for his loved ones: his wife and three children. Without funds coming from outside Gaza, Ahmed has no way to feed his family. We are also trying to prepare for the eventual opening of the border. The family was in the process of preparing to leave when the borders closed. We have no idea what the fees will be once people are able to exit again, so we are estimating the initial amount we want to raise based on the previous fees of $5,000 per adult. Once we raise the initial $10,000, we will determine what the new goal amount to cover the children should be, based on the information available at that point.

The Abu Warda Family Story
The Abu Warda family is currently living beside the ruins of their once beautiful home. This brutal change has been difficult for the entire family, but I believe it is particularly hard on Ahmed, because he feels responsible for everyone's well-being. The challenge he faces on most days is the fact that the food available for purchase is increasingly expensive. The only realistic way to ease the family's suffering is to get money into their hands so they are able to eat. Ahmed wants nothing more than to provide for his family. By supporting the Abu Wardas, you will help him feed his children, and eventually leave the Gaza Strip so that the children will have a future, free to follow their dreams.

Ahmed's family is made up of the following people:
Ahmed Montser Abu Warda, 32
His wife, Nagham Muhammad Abu Warda, 29
His daughter, Alma Ahmed Abu Warda, 6
His son, Ahmed Abu Warda Jr., 4
His daughter, Ella Ahmed Abu Warda, 3
Thank you for taking the time to read this appeal for support. Every dollar will go toward helping the family survive and eventually relocate. I believe in the power of mutual aid, and our friends in the Gaza Strip need our support right now. Ahmed thanks you as well and we are grateful that he will have the opportunity to survive the war, God willing. Please consider making a donation of any amount. Sharing the campaign would also be greatly appreciated.
