David Higgins is currently fighting for his life. There are limited information from the doctors as they are currently running test to see exactly what he is fighting. Unfortunately Dave has gone backwards in his attempts to recovery.
Although he was taken off the ventilator and dropped from ICU to step down, it’s sad to say his body has developed 80% fluids in his lung. He is now back in ICU. Please please keep praying. Please pray he stays off the ventilator. Please pray for his recovery.

Dave and Leah had a bad day today. At first it was a good morning. He was awake and listening to Leah talk to him. They lowered his sedatives and he was resting.
Then he wake up scared and fighting to get out, as Leah had to restrain him to calm him. They both were scared and stressed. But it shows he has strength.
It’s going to be a long recovery. They said every day on the ventilator is a month’s recovery. He is going on 2 weeks.
Some good news is that Daves oxygen is now to 60%. Please keep the prayers!!!

Dave’s still in ICU. The cat scan showed lots of fluids in his pancreas and bowel’s. Dave’s pancreas is still the same, angry and swollen.
His oxygen is still only at 50%. They mentioned a Tracheostomy if he’s on the ventilator for more then 14 days. That’s only days away. Praying it won’t come to that.
He’s been waking up and has been confused and irritated. This is why Leah and his mom have been by his side to reinsure him to stay calm and that they are there fighting with him. They talk to him and he squeezes their hand when answering questions. They have been his calm and peace.
Please keep praying for Dave and his family!
