This sweet family has been though a lot this past year. Learning how to navigate the court system due to recent trauma and learning how to stand on my own two feet has proven to be more difficult than anticipated. It feels insurmountable to conquer the pain, the finances, and the healing simultaneously alongside a two year battle in alcohol recovery.
I am without any real health insurance- Medicaid only- and am looking into somewhere where I can feel peaceful and heal. Our puppy, Otter, has a place to stay but we can use help with the expenses of the latter. I have a home to come back to afterwards and a safe place for my boys to stay in the meantime.
Any help would be much appreciated. If anything, I believe in the power of prayer.
