I'm Kal, and this is my working dog, who I couldn't live without. I am a disabled, middle-aged woman, and I am a volunteer organizer to help the marginalized communities fight for their civil rights and a fair shot at life. Kehmen, the doggo, does a great job welcoming others into our fight for freedom and democracy.
I have come across very hard times with health issues, and I'm running low on being able to pay basic bills and rent. This is certainly not the way I'd hoped to reach out, but as I've learned throughout our communities, the only shame is not asking for help when you truly need it – and we do at this time. I do not have family any longer who would be able to help.
If the donations can total up to the asked amount, we will be able to remain in our home with utilities on for one month. Until (hopefully soon) an employer is ready for me, I'm continuing to search for employment that fits me and my health by putting out resume/apps out every day. I do have many doctor appointments each month, with a surgery upcoming next month. We only want some of the stress and anxiety relieved by knowing our bills can be paid. I return all messages, so if you have questions, do not hesitate to ask.
May you be blessed and liberated always!
