Alekzis was nominated as the only student from Edneyville Elementary to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathway to STEM at the University of North Carolina this Summer. Her selection was based on her exceptional maturity, scholastic merit, and leadership potential to discover her personal strengths and begin to acquire the leadership and life skills needed for academic and career success. She is just one of less than ten students from Edneyville Elementary since 2007 to be nominated to this program. Unfortunately this program is not free and comes with a price fee that is due quicker than expected. She was so excited when she heard about this opportunity because school is her favorite thing in the world. She wishes School was everyday and year round with only dance to give her breaks. Please help send this precious girl to this program this summer and make her dream come true.
