Saturday after Thanksgiving, our world was changed for the worse.. We took our two year old son Cam to the ER as he had stopped eating. After multiple tests we received the heartbreaking news that no parent ever wants to imagine hearing: "Your son has cancer"
Our 2-year-old son, Camden (Cam), has been diagnosed with a rare condition called Neuroblastoma. Cam has 3 tumors in is body, stomach, neck and back.
We are all praying for a miracle for Cam. Someone recently reminded us, "God makes miracles where miracles shouldn't happen."
Cam is receiving care from an incredible team at the Children’s Hospital in Greenville, SC. We are awaiting more information so we can determine if he should go to St. Jude’s or elsewhere for treatment.
In addition to the terrible emotional toll, this nightmare comes with significant financial challenges. As a single mom I will need to step away from work to focus on Cam’s care and as a result will lose my income. Between travel costs, medical bills, and daily expenses, we are facing one of most challenging hardships ahead of us.
We are sincerely asking you from the bottom of our hearts to please help support us during this unfortunate and devastating chapter in our lives.
Whether through prayers, sharing our story, or making a financial contribution, your generosity will help us provide Cam with the best possible care, cover medical and travel expenses, and support our basic needs.
With God and the support, love, and much-needed laughter of our friends and family, we know we will get through this together.
There are no words of gratitude sufficient enough to express what this means to our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us during this time.
