My name is Anna. I’m a single mom to two incredible boys, and they are my entire world.
Over the past several months, I’ve been fighting one of the hardest battles of my life — cancer. While going through chemotherapy, appointments, scans, and the physical and emotional toll that comes with it, I’ve still had to show up every day as “Mom.” There are no sick days from being a mother. No pauses. No breaks.
There were days I didn’t know how I would get out of bed. Days my body felt weak from treatment and my spirit felt stretched thin. But my boys are watching me. They are my reason to fight harder, pray deeper, and keep going even when it hurts.
Cancer doesn’t just affect your health — it affects every part of your life. The medical bills, time off work, treatment-related expenses, and everyday household costs have added up quickly. As a single parent, the weight of that responsibility can feel overwhelming. I have always done everything I can to provide and protect what is mine. Asking for help does not come naturally to me, but this season has humbled me in ways I never expected.
This fundraiser will help cover:
• Medical expenses not fully covered by insurance
• Monthly bills while I recover and regain strength
• Transportation and treatment-related costs
• Basic living expenses for me and my boys
I am nearing the end of my chemo journey and preparing to ring that bell — something I once prayed I would live to see. Cancer has tested me, but it has not broken me. I’ve walked through fire before, and I am walking through it again — stronger, wiser, and still standing.
If you are able to donate, I am deeply grateful. If you can’t, your prayers, shares, and support mean more than you know. Every act of kindness helps lighten the load during this chapter.
I’m not just fighting for myself. I’m fighting for my boys. And I will keep fighting.
With love and gratitude,
Anna
