Hi Friends!
I'm Lavender Yang, and I am raising funds for educational scholarships and heart research with the AHA GO RED x Miss America collaboration! American Heart Association's Go Red for Women has joined forces with Miss America's Scholarship Foundation to raise both research dollars AND tuition scholarships, ensuring a healthier, smarter future for women in America.
Your support is needed and greatly appreciated. Join the movement to end heart disease and provide tuition scholarships to women in America. No donation is too small!
Growing up, I learned early that service is not just something you do—it’s something you live. My grandmother dedicated her life to helping others, and her work in CPR training became a lasting legacy in our family. Through her example, I saw how knowledge, preparation, and compassion can truly save lives.
That legacy continues today through our family’s involvement with Allen Lifeline Services, a CPR and life-saving education service founded to empower everyday people to respond in moments that matter most. Being part of this work has shown me that one person, properly equipped, can make the difference between tragedy and survival.
Partnering with the American Heart Association's Go Red and Miss America’s Scholarship Foundation is deeply meaningful to me because it brings together everything I believe in: education, health advocacy, and community impact. Go Red’s mission to raise awareness about heart health—especially for women—aligns closely with my family’s commitment to prevention and preparedness.
Through raising funds and sharing this message, I hope to honor my grandmother’s legacy by expanding access to life-saving education and supporting initiatives that empower individuals to care for their own health and the health of others. Together, AHA Go Red and Miss America’s Scholarship Foundation amplify the power of service by turning personal stories into collective action—and I am proud to be part of that mission.
