Dear Family and Friends,
Can you believe it? It’s my senior year! I am both excited and anxious to begin my journey of endeavors and opportunities.
Hi, my name is Brizheet “Bri” Andrews and I am a senior at Phillip J. Weaver Academy for the Performing Arts, where my performance concentration is Theatre. Along my life's journey as short as it has been, I came to understand that while I love the arts, I also love helping people maneurver through their life challenges. More times than not, my friends and peers would come to me for a non judgemental and listening ear. I found that I had been blessed with another gift... reasoning and giving others a platform of support so they could find resolution. By putting those two loves together and further exploring what I would want to do with my life, my path became very clear, I want to help people become their best self and my first stop is college.
Upon graduating from high school, I plan to attend North Carolina A&T State University as a Social Work major and Sociology Minor with the intention of pursuing my masters and PhD with strong consideration to the Expressive Arts Therapy field so that I may fulfill my life mission which is to help people who have experienced trauma through mental and physical abuse, find peace and resolution through the therapeutic application of the arts. I do intend to open my own practice, “The Healing Space”.
To that end... the reason for my appeal!
I am proud to announce that I have been selected as a contestant in the 2021-22 Jabberwock Scholarship Program sponsored by the Greensboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in partnership with the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF).
Jabberwock is a cultural enrichment and entertainment activity distinctive to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. This

The Jabberwock will culminate with the presentation of the contestants on April 16, 2022 @ 6PM. I do look forward to this journey of creating financial insurance and stability for my education and being crowned Miss Jabberwock and with your generous support and donations, I am sure to achieve this mission. Brizheet “Bri” Andrews
