The Jacob W. Gonmiah Memorial Health and Wellness Center
The Jacob W. Gonmiah Memorial Health & Wellness Center is being built in Duanpa Town, Nimba County, Liberia — in memory of Jacob, and in service of a community that has long traveled 30+ kilometers for basic medical care.
Where things stand: The building's roof and windows are installed, and the exterior walls are plastered. What's left now is bringing it to life — interior finishing, electrical work, equipping exam rooms, a lab, and a pharmacy, and building toward a target opening in Fall 2027.
This project is largely family-funded, with the generosity of supporters like you helping us get this far. Every contribution moves us closer to opening our doors and offering real care to the more than 50,000 people across three districts this center will serve.
