Students from the Eastern Michigan University (EMU) Trumpet Studio have been selected to compete at the National Trumpet Competition and the Anthony Memorial Trumpet Competition!
Attending these competitions is not only an opportunity for us to represent the EMU School of Music and Dance, but also an amazing opportunity for us to learn as well. By attending, we will be able to listen to and learn from some of the best trumpet players in the world.
This year, the National Trumpet Competition is being hosted at Texas A&M- Kingsville, in Southern Texas, and the Ryan Anthony Memorial Trumpet Competition is being hosted at the International Trumpet Guild Conference in Anaheim, California. As you can imagine, travel costs can add up quite quickly when attending an event such as this.
