After the murder of Charlie Kirk, teachers across the state and country were fired for social media comments. Marsha commented on a friend’s post USING A QUOTE FROM KIRK and has been suspended without pay from her school district. A hearing is scheduled for Nov. This is an infringement on her First Amendment Rights and this act discriminated against Marsha. Only teachers who did not like Kirk were fired. If you get fired for posting on social media, shouldn’t everyone who posted about Kirk be fired? This is a political move by the extreme right. Marsha did not post during school hours. She did not use school devices. This is just one more way to silence teachers and create fear. Marsha’s husband recently lost his job as well and the two of them could use our help! Please help her family!
