- What is this about? Bless A Guardian (Grays Harbor & Surrounding Communities) is a facebook group for Guardians(any mom, dad, parent, foster parent, or legal Guardian) in Grays Harbor, Mason, Thurston, Lewis, Pacific, Jefferson, and/or Clallam County Washington to come together and spotlight, support, gift, and uplift one randomly selected Guardian each week.
The vision is that if each group member gifts the Guardian of the week just $2 or more, it can add up to something that can make an impact in their life and potential relieve a financial burden.
The goal of this is not just to bless each Guardian financially, but get to know, support, my uplift a Guardian of our community. It is about reminding the Guardian and their children that they are seen, valued, and have support.
- How do we select the Guardian of the week? Guardians are ALWAYS chosen at random using a random number generator. They are NOT chosen or nominated based off their trauma, struggles, their ability to gift, or whether they have been gifted to in the past.
- How do I get on the list to be selected as the next Guardian of the Week? Join our Facebook Group and add yourself to the Google Form each week to be eligible to become the Next Guardian of the week.
- Do I have to gift to get on the list OR become Guardian of the Week? No. Every Guardian deserves to feel seen, supported, & blessed regardless of their ability to gift. Gifting is NEVER required. That being said, we do hope you'll consider gifting when you are able. Just $2 is the small act that can create a huge impact if we all come together! If there is no gifting there is no impact. But we understand what it's like to NOT have $2 and we will never exclude a Guardian if they are unable to gift.
- Am I guaranteed to receive gifts if I am the Guardian of the Week? No. This group offers NO guarantee of gifts or prizes. We could select a random Guardian & they receive no gifts at all. Gifting is soley up to the selfless generosity of our group members. We have NO dea how many gifts will be received. It could be zero or it could be 10,000, but we offer NO guarantee of any monetary prize.
