I’m sure all of you have read the allegations against the OKCity Crisis Nursery. One of the people arrested was my sweet friend Lauren Langley.
Since this is an ongoing legal case I can’t say too much but what I can say is not everything is as it seems (at least with Lauren specifically) and I 100% stand with her. She truly has a heart of gold and was involved with the nursery SOLELY for the kids and families that she helped.
2 of her charges have already been dropped but she needs a lawyer to help with the last one. Her lawyer needs $2500 by the 26th to file an entry of appearance. That’s just the amount needed to get started as she’ll also have ongoing legal expenses throughout the case.
She is a single mom of 3 and is currently fostering a 2 year old boy as well. This has also put her behind on bills especially since this has cost her job. Any money raised will go towards her legal fees and essential bills.
She is not the one to ask for help on a normal day and she’s definitely not going to ask for funds now but I know she has a lot of friends in here so I’m going to rally for her. We have started a fundraiser for her if you feel led to help.
If you can’t help financially but know Lauren personally (or even if you don’t) I know that even just letting her know you are praying and routing for her will mean so much to her.
