Hello, my name is Jennifer, and I am a proud mom of four children (ages 20 to 4) and a new grandmother to a sweet 1-year-old. I am currently in a BSN Nursing program while also working 73 hours a week to support my family.
Despite my long hours, I still find myself falling behind on essential bills. To keep food on the table, I visit food banks weekly, and I even donate plasma twice a week to make ends meet. Every dollar I earn goes toward keeping my children safe, fed, and cared for.
I don’t ask for help lightly. My dream is to finish nursing school, become an RN, and give my kids the stability and security they deserve. Right now, I’m doing everything I can, but I’ve fallen behind on essential bills like rent, utilities, food, and transportation.
