Hi my name is Manuel Peralta my story started two months ago I had a pain in my abdominal and went to the emergency department. Dr finding I had a Preparation of the bowel, I was hospitalized a week sent home with a central line and antibiotics hope the infection would get better . Last week the pain returned so I went back to emergency room to find things have worsened. I now have a preparation of the bowel And a torn colon. Dr once again sent me home on a central line with antibiotics for one month after infection is stable they will do a surgery that will leave me with a Colostomy bag for six months. During this time I will not be able to work and my biggest fear is to lose my home and my car . My car is the way I make a living doing uber and lift . Also all this government shut down I don’t know how long it will take to be approved for disability.
With faith I share my story to hope that anyone who can help me during my illness . Anything helps I want everyone to know that reads my story how much it means to me that you take your time and hard earned money to help me .
