I've never experienced being in a fire but that has all changed. My condo had a five alarm fire that sent us running for our lives. My unit is three away from where it started and it was close enough to send thick black smoke into mine. The two end units are destroyed along with all the electric in all five buildings.
I have been ordered to not return to my unit until the electric is repaired and the soot cleaned. We have to wait for Insurance adjusters, fire Marshall's and electricians. They have not given a date for my return.
I fled with my three cats and my rabbit and we are now displaced and living in a hotel. My homeowners insurance is paying for the temporary housing for now but they will not cover food.
I know how generous you all were recently in helping me but I respectfully need to ask for your kindness again.
Anything you can give will help and most importantly please keep us in your prayers. This has been very traumatic and life changing.
