Jim Holdridge has spent his life showing up for others, as a man of faith, a mentor, and a coach Jim has poured into the lives of everyone around him. His impact on every boy he has coached will forever help shape them to also be men of faith and character, and we are so grateful for the love he has shown so many.
For over three years, Jim has been fighting an undiagnosed health condition that has taken away his ability to speak and is now it is affecting his day-to-day mobility. The Holdridge family has pursued every option available through traditional health insurance, numerous tests, specialists, and treatments, but doctors still don't have an answer, and Jim’s health continues to decline.
After much prayer and consideration, the Holdridge family has decided to pursue alternative treatment options that have shown real success for others facing similar struggles. These treatments aren't covered by insurance, and the cost is significant. We're hoping to raise $25,000 to cover testing and treatment including a potential stay at a long-term facility that specializes in this type of care/treatment. In addition to the expensive medical treatments, they are also in the process of making mondifications to their household to make it accessible for Jim. As you can imagine, these too are expensive.
Our hope is to ease the financial burden on the Holdridge family so they can put all of their energy into Jim's healing and not worry the expense side of it. Jim and his family have shown up for so many of us over the years. Now it's our turn. Every gift, big or small, brings them closer to answers and sharing this page with others who love Jim is also a gift.
