**UPDATE -- We raised over $2,000 in our first 24 hours - thank you! We are continuing to grow our goal to meet more families in their loss. Please continuing sharing!**

In 2024, the Lockey family received the news that they were expecting their third son, Anderson. However, after some concerning ultrasounds and genetic testing, Anderson was diagnosed with a genetic abnormality. All earthly wisdom from the kindest of doctors confessed that he would either pass away in utero or shortly after his birth. Travis and Caitlin continued his pregnancy, giving their boy constant love, until his delivery at 29 weeks on May 20th 2024. He lived for two precious hours, never leaving their arms, until his spirit passed from this earth. He was and is the bravest boy.

To honor Anderson and continue his legacy, the Lockey family works to find ways to share his story through giving around his birthday. This year, the desire is to care for other parents as they begin their journey with infant loss.

Within the hospital, there is a Camino Bakery location. Your gift of $25 will go towards supplying each family with a gift card that will purchase them 2 beverages and 2 food items. This gift is meant to provide a glimpse of light, a nourishing meal, and a moment of knowing that they - the parents - are seen in their grief. Often times when babies are born, new parents are flooded with treats and visits. With loss, families often retreat inward seeking solace with the memory of their babe and time with their partners. The gift of this meal is simply to try to meet those families there and provide them with a token that states they are not alone.

Our goal is to raise enough to provide for 100 families. If we can, we will then increase our giving to support families of pediatric loss as well. Thank you for giving a moment of love to these families enduring the hardest loss. Your gift is deeply appreciated.
