My name is Chantal. For the past several years, I have been traveling on the road in my RV. Recently, my RV was vandalized and I found help from a mechanic, paying for labor and parts upfront.
Thinking he was helping me, he cut off my catalytic converter and installed one of the many engine parts I purchased. I suspect the parts were returned for cash.
Because the catalytic converter was removed and the exhaust system was tampered with, carbon monoxide is now leaking directly into the cabin. I have attempted a temporary fix with a pipe, foil, and sealer, but it still loses power and is not safe to drive.
I am currently stranded in TEMPLETON CA. My registration is due in May, and without a catalytic converter, I cannot pass a smog check or renew my tags. If I am towed, I will lose my home and everything I own. I have spent my life overcoming burnout and loss, and am now out of options because now i need literally
