Please help Mahopac and Somers retain an attorney to fight the proposed installation of a Lithium Ion Battery Storage System right in the middle of residential neighborhoods. These systems are known to catch on fire or even explode, releasing toxic gases and hazardous smoke into the air. In addition, they can leak toxic lithium into our ground and water which can lead to many potential fatal health conditions including cancer. These risks won't just affect those close to the facility, it will affect everyone in our towns, our neighboring towns and school systems.
