It’s hard to believe we are already here — Terel’s senior year! ❤️
As his family, we couldn’t be prouder of the young man he has become and everything he has accomplished throughout his high school career. Senior year is a milestone on its own, but when we look back at how hard Terel has worked to get here, we believe he deserves to celebrate this moment in a way he will remember for the rest of his life.
Throughout all four years of high school, Terel has balanced the demands of being a student-athlete while maintaining an incredible 3.9 GPA. 📚🏅
He has played sports throughout his entire high school career, dedicating countless hours to practices, games, training, his teammates, and his school — all while continuing to make academics a priority.
And he didn't take the easy route academically.
Terel challenged himself by taking AP courses as well as dual-credit college courses, allowing him to earn college credit while he was still completing his high school education. Maintaining a 3.9 GPA while balancing advanced coursework and athletics has required an incredible amount of discipline, responsibility, time management, sacrifice, and determination.
There have been early mornings, late nights, practices, games, assignments, exams, projects, and plenty of moments when he could have chosen the easier path.
But he kept going.
And now we want to celebrate him. ❤️
Terel and a group of his close friends, who are also graduating seniors, have decided that they would like to mark the end of this chapter with an unforgettable senior trip to Jamaica! 🇯🇲✈️🌊
These young people have spent some of the most important years of their lives growing, learning, working, competing, and making memories together. Soon, graduation will send them in different directions as they begin college, careers, and the next chapters of their lives.
Before that happens, they would love the opportunity to have one incredible senior adventure together.
For Terel, we want this trip to be his graduation celebration.
Rather than a big graduation party or traditional gifts, Terel has chosen an experience and memories that will last far beyond graduation day.
So, in lieu of graduation gifts, birthday gifts, or “just because” gifts this year, we're asking our family, friends, and community to consider contributing toward Terel's Jamaica Senior Trip Fund.

The funds raised will help cover Terel's expenses associated with the trip, including airfare, accommodations, transportation, meals, activities, and other travel-related expenses.
