Michele never imagined that after a 23-year marriage, she would spend more than six years trapped in an exhausting and deeply painful family court battle. What began as a divorce became a prolonged fight for stability, truth, and survival within systems that too often leave vulnerable families feeling unheard and overwhelmed.
In a recent episode of The Trebuchet Podcast with host Autumn Manelick, Michele courageously shared her story — opening up about the emotional, financial, and psychological toll that extended litigation, institutional failures, and bureaucratic processes can have on women, mothers, military families, and survivors navigating high-conflict legal systems.
Throughout this journey, Michele has continued to advocate not only for herself, but for other women and families facing similar struggles. Her story is one of resilience, courage, and refusing to stay silent in the face of overwhelming adversity.
This fundraiser is being created to help Michele rebuild stability and continue moving forward after years of financial depletion, emotional exhaustion, and ongoing legal hardship.
Funds raised may assist with:
• Legal and administrative expenses
• Housing and basic living support
• Transportation and medical needs
• Advocacy and recovery resources
• Rebuilding financial security after prolonged litigation
Michele’s willingness to speak openly has helped others feel less alone. Now, we have the opportunity to show up for her in return.
If you are able to contribute, share, or simply send encouragement, it would mean more than words can express. Every donation helps lighten the burden and reminds Michele that she is not fighting this battle alone.
Thank you for supporting healing, transparency, and the courage to keep going.
