My son in law is Air Force Reserve and my daughter said they are facing evacuation from their house on base because he’s not getting paid due to the Government shutdown and my daughter had been in the hospital twice in a month due to asthma and heart issues. The lack of a paycheck has put them behind and the assistance programs have been depleted due to the number of reservists who have been affected by this. The eviction process will start on November 5, 2025.
Reservists don’t get free base housing.
