On July 18th, 2025, I dislocated my shoulder. What I initially hoped would be a temporary injury has turned into a much longer and more difficult recovery than expected.
Since the injury, I was placed on short-term disability and have recently transitioned to long-term disability. I’ve been working hard in physical therapy to regain stability and strength in my shoulder, hoping to avoid surgery. Unfortunately, despite months of treatment, my shoulder continues to sublux and dislocate, making normal daily activities painful and unpredictable.
After reviewing my progress, my orthopedic surgeon has determined that surgery is now necessary to repair the damage and stabilize my shoulder.
The cost of the procedure is approximately $15,000. Because I have been unable to work during this time, I have already used the savings I had to cover everyday living expenses and the medical costs leading up to this point.
My surgery is scheduled soon, which means I have about two weeks to try to raise the funds needed to move forward with this operation and continue my recovery.
If you’re able to donate, even a small contribution would make a huge difference in helping me get the care I need. If donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this fundraiser would also help tremendously and mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer. It truly means more than I can express.
Being able to regain the use of my shoulder means being able to return to work and normal life again.
