At the end of 2022, my father faced severe health issues, leading to his hospitalization due to dangerously low blood pressure. A diagnosis soon followed, revealing Addison's disease, That he now had to combat along with his pre-existing diabetes condition. During this time, a foot injury developed into a foot ulcer, leading to a widespread infection and the onset of sepsis.
Despite the medical team's relentless efforts, the infection manifested aggressively, thus necessitating a series of surgeries. The first procedure aimed to cleanse the infected ulcer and eliminate the infection. When this approach failed, a second operation was essential, unfortunately resulting in the amputation of half his foot.
