I never imagined I’d find myself in this position, reaching out for help, but life has thrown some unexpected challenges my way. As a single father of two, my focus has always been on providing for my kids, making sure they have everything they need from the little joys in life to the stability every child deserves. Recently, some medical issues have surfaced that I couldn’t have predicted, and they’ve turned my world upside down.
Living here in Tampa, amidst the warm sunsets and vibrant community, I’ve always tried to manage on my own. But now, faced with mounting medical expenses, I find myself needing to lean on the kindness of others. It’s a humbling experience—I’ve always been the caretaker, not one to ask for help. Yet, here I am, hoping to cover the costs that keep piling up. My greatest wish is to continue being there for my children, watching them grow and thrive, without this heavy burden looming over us.
