Hi my name is Jason Wilcox. In October of 2022, I was diagnosed with stage 4 rare appendix cancer. What followed was the toughest battle of my life. But through every appointment, treatment, and hard day, I was surrounded by an incredible outpouring of love from family, friends, caregivers, and even complete strangers.
That love changed me. It carried me on the days when I didn’t think I could keep going and reminded me that even in life’s darkest moments, there is still so much light in this world.
Jason created this Spotfund with one simple mission: to give back. He wanted to take the kindness that was shown to him and turn it into blessings for others.
Although Jason has now been called home, his heart for people and his desire to help others will continue through this fund.
This Spotfund will be used to bless others in his honor, helping families going through difficult times, supporting those facing medical battles, or simply showing kindness to someone who needs to be reminded they are not alone.
Jason believed deeply in the power of compassion, and through this fund, his legacy of generosity and love will continue to reach people far beyond what he could have ever imagined.
