Helping my son and his girlfriend land back on their feet, to help others and to stay on track, going to school and work, and helping the community. Im from there and bought my first home there which was completely destroyed,  but was born in Billings Montana and my whole family is from Kankakee area. Ive just spent two days on site sheltering in a nearby hotel where my son Owen and his mom lived trying to wrap my arms and mind around how to be helpful and useful to this deeply beautiful and dear to my heart community. All I can say is God is Great and works in mysterious ways. Im so Grateful everyone is safe and ok and im so thankful for all the many amazing and beautiful people who I have met and helped us along the way! Love you all ! Stay strong.
