On Saturday, January 18th, 2025, Joshua and Elizabeth got engaged. On January 22nd, Joshua found out he has cancer. Obviously, this is not how they pictured 2025 going, but they are strong and ready to fight cancer...together!
They are now trying to plan a wedding and a honeymoon around chemo treatments and doctor visits. The beginning of their marriage is now filled with medical bills they had not anticipated.
