The Diehl Me In Western IEA Team has officially qualified for the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Western National Finals in Fort Worth, Texas!
IEA is a nationwide organization that gives students in grades 4-12 the opportunity to compete in equestrian events without owning a horse. Riders compete on unfamiliar horses, making horsemanship, adaptability, teamwork, and sportsmanship the foundation of the sport. Qualifying for Western National Finals is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the dedication, hard work, and talent of these young riders.
Representing the Diehl Me In IEA Team in a combination of team and individual classes at Western Nationals are: Lillian Bressler, Riley Eggleton, Penelope Hanweck, Kylie Houghtaling, Mia Powell, Harper Ryder, Shae Seibert, and Lux Seibert. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many of our youth athletes, and we could not be more proud of them!
As exciting as this opportunity is, traveling to Nationals comes with significant expenses including entry fees, transportation and lodging. We are reaching out to our community for support to help make this dream possible for our team.
Any sponsorship or donation would be greatly appreciated and will directly support our riders on their journey to Fort Worth. Your generosity will help provide these hardworking student athletes with an unforgettable experience and the opportunity to compete at the highest level of youth equestrian competition.
Thank you for supporting our riders and investing in the future of our local youth athletes. We are incredibly grateful for our community and all those who help make opportunities like this possible.
With gratitude,
The Diehl Me In Western IEA Team
