Scar is just under a year old. Back in November (of 2021) he started to loose his playfulness. He would hide and sleep a lot. After a few days he wouldn't eat. He was throwing up/dry heaving. His stool had mucus in it. He just wasn't doing good. He was rushed to the vet where he stayed for almost a week, being tested and connected to a catheter for multiple reasons. Since he's been home he has been on multiple medications, has had several checkups almost every two weeks, and still not much has changed for him. Unfortunately going forward he needs to be seen by an internal medicinespecialist for as he is severely anemic with no known reason as to what's causing it. He will most likely have to get a bunch more test done and some type of treatment following his prognosis. Sadly the specialist doesn't have an available appointment for another few weeks. Monday night Scar started to vomit aggressively. He hasn't stopped in two days. He won't eat, has zero interest in his treats and is just laying around. It's heartbreaking. He can be taken in to be seen as an emergency visit however (if you've ever had an animal in an emergency situation you know firsthand) it going to be more expensive. About $3k has already been invested since November into Scars illness. He is still just a kitten and it is so sad to watch him be so sick. He is the sweetest cat i've ever met. He is a HUGE love bug and any chance he can show some love he does. It has already been and would be extremely difficult to watch him continue to be so sick to the point that he is no longer with is. If you have a few dollars to spare it truly would be extremely appreciated to have a little bit of help with future vet bills. This little guy deserves a happy healthy life and its really hard for me to ask anyone for help but it would mean the world to me to see this sweetheart get better. Thank you so much in advance.
