I just submitted an application for low-income homeownership! I need $2,000 for closing costs. I have almost enough saved, but that will wipe out everything. Any money raised here will help me establish a safe home for my daughter and me!
Hi, I’m Cheryl. Over the last couple years, I have become a DV survivor and single parent, while disabled. I have been trying to hold it together for my daughter, but things are falling behind. I work full-time, earning $2500/month and over half of that goes to rent. There is no child support coming in because he is unemployed. I’ve looked for smaller/cheaper homes, but not finding anything without moving away from our only support system.
Funds raised here will go toward things like camp fees and supplies, school clothes this fall, throwing an 11th birthday party, and other ways to give my kiddo a good childhood.
