Hey everyone. Jack asked me to help set this up...but this is his campaign, so he'll do the talking:

Hi. My name is Jack. I am 40 years old, a single parent with a son 8 years old. I am currently working at the Good Shepherd Agricultural Mission in Banbasa, India. The Mission is a large home dedicated to giving a better life to some beautiful children who need help. I grew up here, and now I am back as a senior boy’s warden and preacher. This is my home.

Three weeks ago, I fell while chasing a dog, resulting in me damaging my left knee. It was a bad fall. My ACL is now 85% torn and I’m told I need surgery to fully heal. The problem is: I can not afford this operation. My work on the mission is mostly service, not highly paid, so I could really use some help.

My goal is to get back on my feet; to do what I love to do the most which is to love, play, care for and be a part of the children’s lives here on the mission. My work is to help them fulfill their dreams, and it’s easier to do this job on two legs.

I hope you’ll consider a donation of any amount. Thank you for reading my story.

Project Update: Just to let you all know: As of yesterday, Jack went in for surgery and by all accounts it was a big success. Now he needs a bit of rest and recoperation before he's back on his feet. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. Here are a few words from Jack himself:

"Hello. I would like to thank you for being a support in my life. Yesterday i had the operation, which was successful. I'm so grateful and thankful to to all. God bless you abundantly."
