I am a 24 year old male with three children. I currently work close to home and make about 55,000 a year. I am the only worker in the household, so all financial responsibility is mine. I took my car to ford and was notified the transmission is slipping. I then thought that my warranty would cover the costs, though I was wrong. The warranty could only cover 4100 dollars and the rest is on me to pay out of pocket . I don’t have extra money laying around nor can I take out a loan in that amount due to my credit history and outstanding balances on student loans. I have no other option but to seek all the help I can get. My daughter is in preschool and has to have transportation to and from. That is my main concern, and I do not want my misfortune and limited financial freedom to hinder her education. I have family members to help me as much as possible, however, it will be nowhere near the price it costs to get my vehicle from the dealership .
