Hi everyone! My name is Claire, and I’m sure a lot of you know my mom Terri (Theresa) Boden. She is the sweetest, most caring person I’ve ever met and would never ask for help herself, which is why I’m here!
Back when my mom was 19 she was in a severe car accident which left her with many injuries, one being her mouth/teeth needing to be reconstructed with dental implants. During the height of Covid, her dental implants got infected and had to be removed. She now has bone loss from the infection and needs a new set of dental implants. Currently she has to wear a flipper, which obviously is not ideal. This is going to take multiple surgeries, time off of work, medications, etc.
In 2015 my mom was diagnosed with brain cancer. She had a tumor that was successfully removed after hours and hours of surgery, but with a few complications. She now has the hearing removed from her right ear, facial paralysis, a balance disorder, and a few other things. The healing was very rough in the beginning but she’s made it so so far. Once she was well enough to work again she started working with adults with disabilities to help them get better and learn in life, which she was still struggling with her own disabilities in the beginning. (Basically she’s my hero)
If you know Terri, you know she is the most selfless person, she would spend hours to help with a little things or bake a cake just to make you feel loved. After cancer she hasn’t been able to work to the same level she used to. I’m reaching out to all of you because after all my mom has been through, she’s always had a smile on her face. I need to keep that smile there and healthy and I need your help!
