Hi, I'm Danielle, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. I am the 24-hour caregiver to my beloved grandma. As her oldest grandchild, I have taken on the role of her healthcare proxy. While it has been an honor to care for her, it comes with challenges that are becoming too hard to face alone. My grandma is in desperate need of a new hospital bed and essential medical equipment. Right now, all of this seems out of reach, and she is suffering because of it. Gram has already experienced a serious open wound that began with a bed sore from the bed she currently has which is the bare minimum in quality. Though we appreciate the insurance providing it... I need her to have better! She deserves better! Getting the right support could significantly improve her quality of life and restore some independence to her days.Your generosity can bring comfort and relief to someone who has given so much of herself to our family over the years. I am trying to raise as much as possible to buy a new (safer and more confortable) hospital bed, a portable wheel chair ramp,  and other necessities that will help my grandma get out of bed and navigate her space with dignity.
