My name is Curtis Price, and I am currently fighting for my freedom and a full pardon in South Carolina after years of being wrongfully imprisoned. My story is about survival, injustice, and the unbroken hope of reuniting with the family I’ve been separated from for far too long.
I’ve endured conditions no human being should ever have to face — but the greatest pain of all has been what I’ve missed on the outside.
I am the father of two sons whose lives I have watched grow only from a distance.
I am the grandfather of six beautiful grandchildren, all born while I’ve been inside — children I have never been able to meet, hold, or love in person.
And my mother, who will soon turn 83 years old, is still waiting for the day she watches her child walk free.
My family deserves to have me home.
I deserve the chance to rebuild my life with them.
And I am fighting every day to make that happen.
