Being a single mom in Harrison has always had its challenges, but I've managed by building a life centered on helping others through my self-employed work. Lately, things have become unexpectedly tough. My work has slowed to a trickle, and to make matters worse, my vehicle gave up on me. Without reliable transport, getting to jobs has become nearly impossible, which means my income has dried up. Suddenly, I found myself staring at an electric shut-off notice, and the fear of losing our home started creeping in. Every day, I try to hold everything together for my little family, but the weight feels heavier than ever.
I’m hoping to raise $875 to handle some immediate needs: crucial car repairs, keeping our lights on, and basic necessities as I work on getting back on my feet. Each contribution, no matter the size, will help take a bit of the weight off my shoulders and bring me closer to regaining stability. Once my vehicle is up and running again, I can get back to my work consistently. I'm not looking for a permanent handout—just a way to weather this storm and stand strong again for my family. Thank you for being part of our journey, whether it’s through a donation, a share, or simply by taking the time to read my story.
