My sister is one of the strongest, most selfless people I know. She is a devoted mother of three, a proud grandmother, and someone who has spent her entire life giving to others. Whether it’s family, friends, or even strangers in need, she shows up — without hesitation, without complaint, and without expecting anything in return.
But now, she’s the one who needs help.
Recently, my sister was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and the cost of her life‑saving medications has become overwhelming. Even though she works over 80 hours a week and has insurance through her job, her coverage only pays for half of her prescriptions. That leaves her with more than $1,000 every month in out‑of‑pocket costs — just to stay healthy and alive.

On top of her diabetes, she has also been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, a condition that makes her health even more fragile and her medical needs even more urgent.
